Hi there. I am Tim. I am a wildlife cinematographer and photographer. My journey started in the heart of my homeland, South Africa—a land of raw beauty and untamed splendore. Here, my passion for capturing the wonders of the natural world and people who share it took root.
I've been witness to many wonders concealed in the most remote and breathtaking corners of our planet. I've also been lucky enough to meet, get to know and document the people who live hand in hand with nature in many of these areas.
My love is to unveil the intricate ballet of animal behavior, human interaction and to weave these revelations into narratives that captivate and educate. I want to foster appreciation for the delicate tapestry of our natural heritage among the hearts and minds of both present and future generations.

In the realm of photography, I often like to dwell in a moment, allowing the daydream to seep in. To try to be present in a moment. I often find that in nature this tends to happen with ease. It is also at times the conscious choice to let a moment etch itself upon my memory. In this deliberate dance with time, I have been fortunate to immortalize experiences that will forever reside in my memory. I tend not to view these as just photographs; they are fragments of memories. Mine, the people and animals I take the photos of.
